Located 20 minutes east of Sacramento in Placerville, Red Hawk Casino is a 278,000-square-foot, full-service gaming facility with an 88,000-square-foot gaming floor, 2,000 slot machines, 75 gaming tables, six restaurants and four bars.

The gaming facility is a three-level braced steel frame structure built on a steep hillside location. Work included place and finish of 235,000-square-feet of elevated slabs, topping slabs and stairs. The use of an ultra lightweight concrete mix was a unique challenge -- one that was overcome, while meeting the client’s accelerated schedule.
